Why doesn't America switch to the metric system? Here is the answer!

While there are clear benefits for America from switching to the metric system, the country is too big to make the transition smooth and fast. That's why American authorities are not quite interested in transforming the US to a metric system country.

Although the globalization pushes the world to unified standards, the US remain the last big country to preserve the imperial system. The exact metric values of inches, feet and pounds help to convert the numbers from one system to another, but somewhere in the future America should and will convert its measuring system to the metric one. This is still a question of political will.
