Yeah, you do need a visa for Afghanistan—and you’ve gotta get it in advance, not at the airport. Tourist visas aren’t really issued right now because of security issues, so most of us can't get one unless you're going for business or government reasons. The U.S. government strongly advises against travel there because of instability, and processing can take weeks. You’ll need a passport valid for six months, an invitation or itinerary, and you’ll apply through an embassy outside the U.S. Bottom line—travel there is definitely restricted and complicated. -->
