What currency is used in Chile?

Chile’s currency is the Chilean peso, written as CLP. It’s been used since 1975 and is known for being relatively stable in South America. The notes feature famous Chileans, national landmarks, and beautiful landscapes like Torres del Paine. Cash is used everywhere, but cards and mobile payments are common too. ATMs are easy to find in cities and towns across the country. The peso’s value can shift with copper prices since that’s a huge part of Chile’s economy. The Chilean peso represents both stability and the country’s growing modern identity.
