What currency is used in Guinea-Bissau?

Guinea-Bissau uses the West African CFA franc, written as XOF. It’s a shared currency with several other countries in West Africa. The CFA franc is pegged to the euro, keeping it stable and reliable. Cash is used for almost all transactions, especially in local markets. Banknotes feature cultural symbols, historical figures, and regional landmarks. ATMs and banks are mainly available in the capital, Bissau. The CFA franc helps Guinea-Bissau trade easily with its neighboring countries.
