What is the population of Finland?

Finland has a population of about 5.6 million people. Most Finns live in southern cities like Helsinki, Espoo, and Tampere, while northern areas are sparsely populated. Population growth is slow, mainly fueled by immigration rather than birth rates. Finland has an aging population, but its strong social services and high quality of life support families and seniors. Urbanization continues as more people move to cities for work and education. The country is ethnically homogeneous but gradually becoming more diverse due to migration. Overall, Finland has a small, stable, and well-supported population.
