Iceland is one of the most expensive countries in the world. Groceries and everyday essentials are pricey due to imports. Rent is high, especially in Reykjavik. Utilities and internet are reliable but expensive. Eating out at restaurants is very costly. Health care is excellent and mostly covered by the government. Overall, Iceland offers great quality of life but requires a large budget for daily living.
