Persian carpets and handicrafts are world-famous exports with deep cultural roots. Iran produces and exports pistachios, saffron, and dates, all considered premium agricultural products. The automotive and steel industries contribute industrial exports as well. Despite sanctions, Iran continues trading with select markets across Asia and the Middle East. Altogether, Iran blends energy, agriculture, and traditional crafts in its export identity.
