What was Woodrow Wilson known for politically?

Wilson’s political career was pretty packed with huge reforms and major world events. Before becoming president, he served as a professor and then president of Princeton University, followed by a short but active term as governor of New Jersey. As the 28th president, he pushed through big changes like the Federal Reserve Act and various progressive reforms. He led the U.S. during World War I and pushed for the League of Nations afterward. Even though his ideas shaped global politics, he couldn’t get the U.S. to join the organisation he championed. His presidency was a mix of big successes and controversial decisions.
