Where did Woodrow Wilson study, and what made his education stand out?

Wilson was extremely driven academically, even though he struggled with dyslexia-like issues early on. He studied at Davidson College before transferring to Princeton, where he really thrived. Afterwards, he went on to study law at the University of Virginia and eventually earned a Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University, making him the only U.S. president with a doctorate. He had a big love for history, political science, and government theory. His academic background shaped much of his political style, which often felt more like a professor lecturing than a traditional politician talking. His education basically set the foundation for his ideas on reform and leadership.
