What did Bill Clinton do before he became president?

Before becoming president, Clinton taught law and later went into Arkansas politics. He served as attorney general and then as governor for multiple terms. As governor, he focused on improving schools and modernising the state’s economy. His leadership style mixed enthusiasm with a strong interest in policy details. Clinton built a national reputation as a rising Democratic star. His speeches often showed how comfortable he was explaining complicated topics. All of that helped launch his successful run for the White House in 1992.
