Gerald Ford went to the University of Michigan, where he played on the football team and became an All-American. He studied economics and political science, showing early interest in government. After that, he went to Yale Law School and worked hard to prove himself academically. His education mixed athletics, leadership, and serious study. Ford often said his time in school shaped the way he thought about fairness and teamwork. He wasn’t a flashy student but a hard-working one. Those experiences helped him later in Congress and the White House.
