Despite the myth, Einstein was not a “bad student.” He was actually very strong in math and physics from a young age. But he hated strict memorisation and rigid teaching styles. He argued with teachers and ignored assignments he found pointless. That rebellious attitude got him labeled as difficult. He liked learning on his own terms, reading advanced science books as a teenager.
