Who was Princess Diana and why was she so loved?

Princess Diana, born Diana Frances Spencer in 1961, became internationally loved as the first wife of Prince Charles and the mother of Prince William and Prince Harry. People adored her because she came across as real, compassionate, and approachable, not like a distant royal. Diana was known for connecting with everyday people and using her fame to draw attention to important causes. She made huge statements just by being herself, especially when she shook hands with AIDS patients at a time when people were scared to even be near them. Her warmth, kindness, and honesty made her relatable to millions. Even after her divorce, she kept doing charity work and stayed in the public eye as a force for good. To this day, many still see her as the “People’s Princess.”
