Why did Einstein move to the United States?

Einstein moved to the U.S. because the Nazi regime made Germany unsafe for Jewish people. He was already one of the world’s most famous scientists, so Princeton University invited him to join the Institute for Advanced Study. He never went back to Germany. In America, he continued research and spoke out against war and racism. He lived quietly in New Jersey until his death in 1955.
