Franklin became one of the most successful printers in colonial America. He published the Pennsylvania Gazette, which was one of the most widely read newspapers of its time. He also created Poor Richard’s Almanack, a mix of weather, jokes, and wisdom that made him famous. Franklin mastered simple, catchy writing that regular people loved. His sayings like “Early to bed and early to rise” stuck in the culture. He understood media long before it was an industry.
