Benjamin Franklin (1706–1790) was one of the most important Founding Fathers of the United States, and he was way more than just a politician. He was a writer, inventor, scientist, printer, and diplomat who helped shape early America. Franklin signed key documents like the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. He was a respected thinker whose opinions carried serious weight. Even today, people study his ideas about freedom, work, and innovation. Most folks know him from the $100 bill, but his legacy goes way beyond that image.
