What martial arts did Bruce Lee practice?

Bruce Lee started out with traditional Wing Chun under the legendary teacher Ip Man. But as he got older, he realised that sticking to one style was limiting, so he created his own approach. He called it Jeet Kune Do, which means “the way of the intercepting fist.” It wasn’t a fixed style but more like a personal philosophy of movement—take what works, throw out what doesn’t. Lee mixed boxing, fencing, kung fu, and real combat principles. His training was intense, scientific, and way ahead of his time. A lot of modern MMA fighters openly say they’re inspired by his ideas.
