Bruce Lee became famous in Hong Kong first, starring in “The Big Boss” and “Fist of Fury.” Those films made him a national hero because audiences had never seen that kind of intense martial arts before. He then directed “The Way of the Dragon,” where he fought Chuck Norris in the Colosseum—still one of the most iconic fight scenes ever made. “Enter the Dragon” was his Hollywood breakthrough, mixing martial arts and spy-movie vibes. It came out right after he died, which made it bittersweet. That film basically changed the entire action movie industry. Without Bruce Lee, we probably wouldn’t have modern martial arts cinema.
