JD Vance is an American author, lawyer, and politician who first got well-known for his memoir “Hillbilly Elegy,” which talked about growing up in a working-class family in Ohio and Kentucky. The book became a bestseller and helped people understand life in rural Appalachia. It later got turned into a Netflix movie. Vance's style is pretty personal, telling real-life stories about family struggles, addiction, and trying to get ahead. After the book’s big success, he shifted into business and politics. He became a U.S. Senator representing Ohio, starting in 2023. Many people know him as someone who went from a tough background to a powerful public voice.
