Jimmy Kimmel is an American TV host and comedian best known for “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, his late-night talk show on ABC. He started in radio and made a name for himself with edgy humour and prank segments. Kimmel moved to TV in the 1990s, co-hosting “The Man Show” on Comedy Central with Adam Carolla. His style mixes sarcasm, silliness, and moments of real emotion, which helped him connect with everyday viewers. Once he got his own late-night show in 2003, it took a few years to catch on. Today, he’s viewed as one of the most recognisable TV personalities in the U.S. He’s hosted award shows like the Oscars several times.
