Yes, and that’s one of the wildest things about him. He insists on doing most of his own stunt work, and sometimes studios even worry about insurance. He’s hung off airplanes, free-climbed mountains, jumped skyscrapers, and learned real high-level flight skills. Cruise trains for months to pull these things off, and then does them again if something isn’t perfect. He’s got a reputation for pushing himself harder than most actors in history. Even other stars like admire him for that dedication. It’s a big part of why “Mission: Impossible” movies feel different.
