Did Shakespeare really write all of his plays?

There’s a long-standing debate about whether Shakespeare wrote everything attributed to him. Some people credit wealthy nobles like Francis Bacon or the Earl of Oxford. Most scholars, though, agree the works belong to Shakespeare because the evidence lines up with his life. His understanding of stagecraft, business, and language matches what we know about him. He also collaborated with other playwrights, which was normal at the time. A few plays show shared authorship, not mystery or conspiracy. The idea that he didn’t write them mostly comes from romantic myths, not actual proof.
