Most concerts at the amphitheater happen rain or shine unless severe weather creates safety concerns. The covered pavilion protects reserved seating guests from most rain, but the lawn area is fully exposed to the weather. Fans attending lawn concerts often bring ponchos or weather-appropriate clothing just in case conditions change. Utah evenings can cool down quickly after sunset, especially during spring and fall concerts. Severe thunderstorms and dangerous weather may cause temporary delays during outdoor events. Many regular visitors suggest checking the forecast before heading to the venue because weather conditions can shift during the day. Being prepared for both warm and cooler temperatures usually makes the night much more comfortable.
