What is Wilshire Grand Center and why is it famous?

Wilshire Grand Center is one of the most recognizable skyscrapers in downtown Los Angeles, California. The tower became famous for being the tallest building in Los Angeles and one of the tallest west of the Mississippi River. It opened in 2017 and completely changed the skyline of downtown LA with its modern glass design. The building includes offices, restaurants, shops, observation areas, and the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown hotel. Many visitors recognize the tower because of its tall spire and glowing lights at night. Wilshire Grand Center is also known for having one of the highest rooftop bars in the United States. Tourists and architecture fans often visit the area just to photograph the skyscraper from different angles around downtown.
