Seven Israelis are suspected of aiding Iran

According to the suspicion, the seven carried out over two years 600 to 700 information gathering missions in Iran's intelligence service, including gathering information about sensitive facilities, IDF bases and Israeli officials.

Seven Israelis living in Haifa and the north are suspected of aiding the enemy in wartime, after collecting sensitive intelligence information in the service of Iran - the police said today (Monday).

According to the suspicion, the seven, who immigrated to Israel from Azerbaijan, carried out over two years 600 to 700 information gathering tasks under the direction of two agents from the Iranian intelligence named "Alkhan" and "Oran". Also, the seven followed an Israeli senior official and his son, and it is suspected that they planned to assassinate them.

Among the tasks carried out by the suspects were gathering information on senior Israeli officials and gathering information on sensitive facilities, including the air force bases in Nabatim and Ramat David, the Kariya camp in Tel Aviv, Iron Dome battery sites, and more. They also received from their operators maps of strategic sites, including H. Golani. According to the police, the seven are even suspected of having gathered information about the IDF bases that were attacked as part of the Iranian attack in April, after which they were sent to examine the extent of the damage caused.
