Prior to joining Metallica, Trujillo was a member of Suicidal Tendencies and Infectious Grooves, bands known for their fusion of metal and punk.Trujillo also played with Ozzy Osbourne in 1990-s. His bass playing is powerful and aggressive, with a distinctive slap technique that adds flavor to Metallica's sound. He’s also known for his dynamic stage presence, often moving energetically while performing.
