Is Jacksonville a walkable city?

Some parts of Jacksonville are walkable, like downtown, Riverside, and the beaches. But because the city is so spread out, you’ll probably need a car to get around. That said, there are plenty of scenic spots for walking, like the Riverwalk along the St. Johns River. If you’re staying in a specific neighborhood, it can feel cozy and very walkable.
