Is Nashville a walkable city?

The downtown area, especially around Broadway and the Gulch, is quite walkable. You can easily explore honky-tonks, museums, and restaurants on foot. However, to get to neighborhoods like East Nashville, 12 South, or Belle Meade, you’ll probably want a car or rideshare. Public transit exists but isn’t extensive. Overall, walking downtown is enjoyable, especially with so much street-level energy and entertainment.
