What sports teams does Louisville have?

Louisville is home to the Louisville Cardinals, the University of Louisville's athletic program with strong basketball and football traditions. Soccer is big here too — Louisville City FC and Racing Louisville FC play at the beautiful Lynn Family Stadium. There's also a strong baseball presence with the Louisville Bats, a minor league team. While there’s no NFL or NBA team, the city’s sports culture is passionate and loyal. Derby City definitely knows how to cheer.
