Cool facts about Wembley Stadium

Wembley’s most iconic architectural feature is its 133-meter-tall arch, which spans 315 meters and is visible across much of London. The arch supports most of the stadium’s roof structure and has become a symbol of modern British engineering. The original Wembley Stadium featured the famous Twin Towers, which were demolished during the rebuild. Wembley has hosted both the 1948 Olympic Games and the 2012 Olympic football finals. It holds the record for the highest attendance at a football match in the UK — over 89,000 fans. The pitch has a unique partially retractable roof to protect against weather while maintaining natural grass growth. It's also one of the world’s busiest stadiums for non-sporting events, thanks to its flexible design and capacity.
