The United Nations Headquarters is located in New York City, but it is considered international territory. The land was donated by John D. Rockefeller Jr. in 1946. The complex includes the iconic Secretariat Building, General Assembly Hall, and Conference Building. Flags of all 193 member nations fly in front of the complex. The building features artwork from around the world, including a stained-glass window by Marc Chagall. Visitors can take guided tours and even witness diplomatic sessions. Though in NYC, the complex has its own postal code and issues UN-specific stamps.
