When was the Burj Khalifa completed?

Construction of the Burj Khalifa began in 2004 and was completed in 2010. The official grand opening took place on January 4, 2010. The tower was originally called the Burj Dubai but was renamed Burj Khalifa in honor of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of the UAE. The building’s completion marked a turning point in global skyscraper design. It remains a central landmark and symbol of Dubai’s rapid development.
