Dodger Stadium was built into the hillside of Chavez Ravine, giving it a terraced design that naturally integrates with the surrounding landscape. Its seating arrangement allows fans to enjoy clear views of the field as well as breathtaking backdrops of mountains and city skylines. Parking lots were carefully designed into the hill, providing easier access for thousands of cars. Renovations in recent years have introduced modern fan experiences while preserving the mid-century character of the park. The result is a stadium that feels both historic and contemporary at the same time.
