Sam Asghari, the ex-husband of pop icon Britney Spears, is an Iranian-American actor, model, and personal trainer. Born in Iran, he immigrated to the U.S. at age 12 and became a citizen in 2012, learning English by watching "Hannah Montana." Spears and Asghari met on the set of her 2016 music video "Slumber Party" and married in June 2022. They separated in August 2023, and their divorce was finalized in May 2024. Asghari launched a career in fitness through his platform, Asghari Fitness, while also modeling and acting, including roles in shows like "Hacks" and "NCIS," and the film "Hot Seat." He expressed ambitions to star in action films and was cast in Paramount+'s "Lioness." In 2024, he joined season 3 of the reality show "The Traitors." Despite Spears later calling their marriage a “fake distraction,” Asghari maintained that their relationship was genuine and expressed lasting affection for her. He is now dating Brooke Irvine, going public in January 2025.
