How do you get around in Brunei?

Brunei isn’t huge, so getting around is pretty easy. In Bandar Seri Begawan, taxis and ride-hailing apps are available, but they’re not as common as in bigger cities. Renting a car is often the best option if you want to explore outside the capital at your own pace. Buses run on some routes, but they’re limited and not super frequent. A lot of locals use boats for trips to Kampong Ayer and along the rivers, which is an experience on its own.
