What language do people speak in Estonia?

The main language is Estonian, which is actually related to Finnish rather than Russian or German. It’s not the easiest language to pick up, but most younger Estonians speak excellent English. Russian is still widely understood, especially among older generations. You’ll also hear Finnish, German, and even Swedish here and there. If you’re visiting, English will get you by just fine.
