First cracked upon arrival in 1752; the current crack appeared in 1846.
Never rang on July 4, 1776; the steeple was under repair.
Named "Liberty Bell" by abolitionists in 1835.
Hasn't rung since 1846 due to its large crack.
Located at the Liberty Bell Center in Philadelphia, across from Independence Hall.
Over 270 years old, cast in 1752.
Was hidden during the American Revolution to protect it from the British.
