Nope, Monte-Carlo isn’t the capital of Monaco. The capital is actually Monaco itself, since the country is a city-state. Monte-Carlo is just one of Monaco’s districts, but it’s definitely the most famous one. Most people confuse it with the whole country because it gets so much attention. It’s kind of like the showpiece of Monaco.
