Typhoon Tapah Causes Disruption in Southeast Asia

Typhoon Tapah, known as Tropical Depression Lannie in the Philippines, impacted Southeast Asia in early September 2025. The storm brought heavy rains and strong winds to Hong Kong, Macau, and parts of South China, leading to significant disruptions. Authorities reported over a dozen injuries and widespread infrastructural damage. Emergency response teams were deployed to assist affected communities and assess the full extent of the damage. While the typhoon has dissipated, recovery efforts continue as local governments work to restore normalcy.
