Deadly Attack at Dallas ICE Facility Raises Security Alarm

A shooter opened fire from a nearby rooftop at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Dallas, killing one detainee and critically wounding two others before taking his own life. Authorities say ammunition at the scene bore anti-ICE markings, raising concerns of a targeted attack. The shooter was later identified as a 29-year-old man linked to anti-immigration sentiments. In response, the Department of Homeland Security has ordered heightened security at ICE sites across the country. Federal agents are now investigating whether this was an act of domestic terrorism. The shooting injects fresh urgency into debates over immigration enforcement and facility protection.
