How did Kaprizov start his hockey career?

Kaprizov grew up in Russia and started playing hockey at a super young age. Like a lot of kids there, he trained in tough environments that pushed him to develop strong fundamentals. He worked his way through the Russian junior leagues and then made it big in the KHL, Russia’s top pro league. Scouts noticed him right away because he was fast, crafty, and could finish plays in tight spaces. He represented Russia in international tournaments, which gave him even more exposure. His path wasn’t always easy, but his determination stood out. By the time he came to the NHL, he was already polished and confident.
