How do you get to Schwerin Castle and is it easy to combine with other things to do?

Getting to Schwerin Castle is super easy — it’s just about 90 minutes from Hamburg or a couple hours from Berlin by train. The castle is right in the middle of Schwerin, so once you step off the train, it’s only a short walk through the charming old town to reach it. The whole area is packed with cozy cafés, little antique shops, and waterfront views, so you can easily make a full day of it. If you’re into photography, the reflections of the castle on Lake Schwerin are unreal. You can rent a paddleboat or just stroll the park paths around the island for great views from every angle. Some people even visit in winter because it looks magical surrounded by frost and snow. So yeah, whether you’re on a day trip or a longer stay, it’s easy and worth every minute.
