What’s the weather like in Dominica?

Dominica has a tropical climate, which basically means warm and humid year-round with some rain sprinkled in. The rainy season is usually June to November, and that’s when the forests are at their greenest and waterfalls are roaring. Even in the dry season, it can still rain a bit here and there, but that keeps everything lush and alive. Temperatures usually hover around 75–85°F, so light clothes are all you need. Nights are cooler, especially in higher elevations. Hurricanes can happen, so it’s smart to check forecasts if you plan a trip in late summer. Overall, it’s perfect for hiking and exploring waterfalls most of the year.
