DFW Airport is one of the largest airports in the world by land area. It has five terminals labeled A through E, all connected by the Skylink train. The airport is so large that driving between terminals can take several minutes. There are hundreds of gates serving domestic and international flights. Because of its size, first-time visitors sometimes underestimate travel time inside the airport. The layout is designed to handle a massive number of passengers daily.
