What’s the bag and security policy at Madison Square Garden?

Madison Square Garden has a strict but pretty common bag policy to keep everyone safe and make security lines move faster. Bags don’t have to be clear, but they must fit comfortably under your seat and should not be bigger than about 22″ x 14″ x 9″. Oversized bags, suitcases, and big backpacks usually won’t be allowed inside; there’s no locker or bag check area at the venue. Security checks every bag through X-ray or manually, so plan to go through screening before you get in. Arriving early helps avoid long lines, especially for big concerts or playoff games.
