Union Station is open to the public every day from early morning until around late night, usually from about 4:00 am to 1:00 am. During those hours you can walk around the historic waiting room, grab a coffee, or catch your transit connection. If you arrive between 1:00 am and 4:00 am, you generally need a valid ticket for an arriving or departing train or approved transit purpose to stay inside — most public areas close otherwise. Different services inside, like train ticket counters or lounges, have their own operating schedules, so check ahead if you need specific help early or late. Shops and food vendors have their own hours too, so they may open and close at different times during the day.
