Rogers Arena has rules about what you can bring in so security can check bags quickly and keep things safe for everyone. Cameras are allowed for still photos at some events like Canucks games as long as the lens isn’t too long or detachable, but professional cameras and video gear are usually prohibited unless the specific event says otherwise. Outside food and drinks aren’t allowed, though medically necessary items or baby bags are usually accepted after inspection. Signs and banners are okay so long as they’re not too big, attached to poles, or blocking someone’s view. Weapons, noisemakers, and large bottles are on the banned list too, so check the full policy before you go. These rules help make entry faster and more comfortable for everyone attending the event.
