What is the JMA Wireless Dome and where is it located?

The JMA Wireless Dome is a huge indoor stadium on the campus of Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York, and it’s one of the most iconic college sports venues in the U.S. Opened in 1980, it was originally called the Carrier Dome before a naming rights deal with JMA Wireless changed it in 2022. The Dome sits at 900 Irving Avenue and hosts a mix of sports, concerts, university events and big gatherings throughout the year. Known locally as “The Loud House” because of how loud fans can get during Orange games, it’s become a central part of campus life and community pride. In addition to college sports it’s also used for high school championships, band events and occasional major concerts with big touring artists. It’s the largest domed stadium on any college campus in the country and the biggest domed facility in the northeastern U.S. Visiting here gives you a real taste of Syracuse spirit whether you’re cheering on the Orange or catching a concert.
