What is the Kia Center in Orlando?

The Kia Center is a major indoor sports and entertainment arena in downtown Orlando, Florida, where you can catch NBA games, concerts, family shows, and more. It’s the official home of the Orlando Magic of the NBA and also hosts events like Orlando Solar Bears hockey games and big touring shows. The building opened in 2010 and has become one of Central Florida’s top spots for live entertainment and big events. It’s a state-of-the-art venue with tons of tech features like big HD video boards and lots of digital monitors inside. Fans often rate the Kia Center as one of the best game-day experiences in the NBA, and it has won multiple awards for operations and guest experience. Because it’s downtown, parking, food, and nightlife are all close by so you can make a night of it. The naming rights switched from the Amway Center to Kia Center in late 2023, so many locals still call it the “Amway” by habit.
