Desert Diamond Arena is a big indoor sports and entertainment venue located in Glendale, Arizona, about 12.5 miles northwest of downtown Phoenix. It opened in 2003 and was originally known as Glendale Arena before going through a couple of name changes over the years. The arena sits on 13.5 acres in the heart of the Westgate Entertainment District, a lively area full of restaurants, bars, and shops.
